From Waikiki:
1. Drive East (ocean on your right) on either Kalakaua Ave or Kuhio Ave until you hit Kapahulu Ave and turn left heading inland. Kapahulu Ave marks the end of the hotel area of Waikiki so if you end up in the park you've gone too far.
